Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your review. I’m truly happy to hear that your hair does not seem to be coming out as much- that is exactly the kind of progress we love to hear from our customers, especially since you just ordered our shampoo within 2 weeks ago.

I also wanted to gently explain the lather. Our Revitalize Complex Shampoo is sulfate-free and made without harsh stripping cleansers, so it may not foam as much as traditional shampoos. That is intentional. Many shampoos that create a lot of bubbles use stronger surfactants, but more lather does not always mean a better clean especially for your scalp. Unfortunately, a lot of people are not aware of this.

At Athena Rose, our focus is scalp health-first cleansing. The goal is to cleanse the scalp effectively while helping protect the hair and scalp from unnecessary dryness, stripping, irritation and in your case shedding especially as your scalp ages it becomes more vulnerable.

For best results, I recommend applying the shampoo directly to the scalp, massaging it in well with your fingertips and doing a second cleanse if needed. The first wash helps loosen buildup and the second wash usually creates more lather once the scalp and hair are cleaner.
